Udaipur Mount Abu Tour Package – 5 Days Rajasthan Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival In Udaipur

Udaipur Airport/Railway Station Arrival Check-in hotel. Free day at leisure. Hotel overnight.

Day 2: Udaipur

Morning enjoy sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Founded in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh, this city has been described as the most romantic spot in the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Visit the City Palace museum, Jagdish Temple, Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen’s resort for their friends), Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (folk art museum) and the Pratap Memorial. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Stay the nite in Udaipur.

Day 3: Udaipur – Mount Abu (4 hrs)

Drive to Mount Abu, the only hill station of Rajasthan, at an altitude of 1200 mt. Day at your convenience. Stay overnight at Mount Abu.

Day 4 Mount Abu

Morning visit to the world famous Dilwara Jain Temple, Nakki Lake and Brahmin Kumari Ashram. Dilwara Temple is an exceptional group of Jain temples. Two of these temples are among the finest examples where art of carving marble has reached unsurpassed heights. The older of the temples is the 'Vimal Vasahi', built in 1031 and dedicated to the first tirthankar, Adinath. Before the temple is the 'House of Elephants,' where elephants are shown marching in procession to the entrance of the temple. The 'Tejpal Temple' was built in 1230 by the brothers Tejpal and Vastupal and is dedicated to Neminath, the 22nd tirthankar. The carving is so fine that the marble in places becomes almost transparent. Nakki Lake is located almost in the heart of Mount Abu and is a huge attraction with tourists. The lake is named for the legend that it was dug out by a god with his nails, or nakh. As you walk along the lake, keep an eye out for the odd rock formations. There is a run-down concrete snack bar on the lake, in the shape of a boat. Mount Abu : One Nite Stay.

Day 5: Mount Abu-Udaipur & leave (4hrs)

After breakfast at hotel drive to Mount Abu later transfer to airport / railway station for your next destination
